Betley and District Village Hall Privacy Notice

General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) 2018

The members of Trustees of Betley Village Hall hold personal data in order to be able to:

1] contact individuals & businesses in relation to the hiring, administration & maintenance of the Hall & its environs [Article 6.1 (a)]*

2] contact individuals & businesses in relation to carrying out the management of the Trust funds [Article 6.1 (f)]

3] comply with the requirements of the Charity Commission [Article 6.1 (c)]

 

The data is normally held in electronic form in mailboxes and address books and is protected by commercially available software and passwords. Only sufficient data will be kept to meet the purposes of keeping it, as listed above. This will normally be no more than a title, name, address, e-mail address and telephone number.The data will not be analysed, passed to third parties, made available publicly (other than as a legal requirement, or with the permission of the data owner), or used other than for the purpose of carrying out the business of the Hall.

 

Any loss of personal data to an outside source shall be reported to the person to whom the data applies, and to the regulator, by the person who found the loss. Any individual has the right to have their personal data deleted, by requesting its deletion by the trustee with whom they first made contact.
